SHANNON — Nicki Nicole Locklear, 30, of Shannon, died Aug. 11, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Praise and Worship Ministries in Red Springs, Bishop Ricky Deese, the Revs. Teddy Jacobs and Chris Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Betty Fay Oxendine family cemetery.
Nicki was born July 13, 1983, in Lumberton.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ken Oxendine; a half-brother, Ron Locklear; her grandfathers, Redell Oxendine and Kennon Locklear; and her grandmother, Delphi Pevia Locklear.
She is leaves behind her son, Ethan Dale Pate of the home; her father, Ronald Lee Locklear of Pembroke; her mother, Betty Fay Oxendine of Shannon and her stepfather, Kenneth Oxendine of St. Pauls; her grandmother, Mary L. Oxendine of Shannon; four brothers, Larry Jr. Oxendine, Anthony W. Brooks, Gary L. Locklear and Adam Locklear, all of Shannon; a stepbrother, Billy R. Oxendine of St. Pauls; a stepsister, Mary Ann Ransom of St. Pauls; a dear friend, Bridgette Hardin of Shannon; three nephews, Darian Brooks, Jalin Brooks and Bobby Brooks; four nieces, Brittany Chavis, Danyel Brooks, Precious Sanderson and Oharley Ransom; also a host of many loving friends, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
