‘Chicago’ takes stage this month

LUMBERTON — “Chicago,” the longest running musical in Broadway’s history and winner of Tony, Golden Globe and Oscar awards, comes to Robeson Community College this month.

Purple Door Productions will present the musical featuring a cast of actors and dancers from Robeson County. The cast and crew will recreate Bob Fosse’s singular style with original choreography by Erin Elliott. The show will be performed at A.D. Lewis Auditorium.

The show takes the stage Saturday, April 20 and April 21 at 7:30 p.m. each day. There will be 2 p.m. matinee shows on April 15, April 21 and April 22. Tickets are available now at a cost of $15 for adults, $10 for students and $8 for RCC students and staff.
