Kiwanis Club honors Lowry with bench

During the 10th annual Lumbee Homecoming Bike Ride on June 30 the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke, in collaboration with Lumbee Regional Development Association, honored the life of Mitchell “Mitch” Lowry, who was a dedicated member and former president of the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke. His family was presented with a plaque, and a park bench bearing his name will be placed in Milton R. Hunt Memorial Park in Pembroke.
