LUMBERTON — The American Red Cross has scheduled three blood drives this month in Robeson County.
Eligible donors to give blood during April, which is National Volunteer Month.
Two blood drives are scheduled for April 19. One is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Robeson Community College, 5160 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton. The other is 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Purnell Swett High School, 11344 Deep Branch Road in Pembroke.
The third blood drive is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 28 at Elrod Baptist Church, 538 State Road in Rowland.
Volunteer donors are the only source of blood products for those in need of transfusions. Donors of all blood types are needed to help meet patient needs this spring.
