discussion on lymphedema

LUMBERTON — Enjoy breakfast and learn about lymphedema on Tuesday at 8 a.m.

Lisa Donovan, an occupational therapist with Southeastern Health Rehab Services, will present a program on the condition, which is often related to limb swelling that comes from cancer treatment.

to include in 9 categories

LUMBERTON — Southeastern Health is hosting its third annual Regional Community Health Awards Ceremony on Thursday.

The ceremony will take place in the A.D. Lewis Auditorium at Robeson Community College at 6:30 p.m. The award winners will be selected from 36 nominees in the following nine categories: faith-based; education; emergency personnel;business; civic and government; health care; individual impact; and lifetime achievement.

Southeastern Health’s executive leadership team will present the awards. The public is invited to attend.

Health promotion specialist

to lead Fitness Friday group

LUMBERTON — Southeastern Health will host Fitness Friday from 8 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. on that day.

Carlotta Winston, health promotion specialist, will lead the group through a DVD-guided exercise session at the Community Health Education Center located across from the mall office at Biggs Park Mall in Lumberton.

Kickball tournament will

kick cancer on Saturday

ROWLAND — Robeson County residents can kick away cancer at a Kickball Tournament benefiting the Gibson Cancer Center.
