LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Humane Society received $630 worth of donated supplies and $332 in cash donations Saturday at its 4th annual “Christmas in July” supply drive — and anyoone wishing to still donate has today and Wednesday to do so.
The supply drive, which was held on Saturday at Lowes Food on 5075 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, is conducted yearly to help get much-needed cleaning supplies for the animal shelter.
Late donors interested in helping still can contribute by leaving money or items in the box under the “Christmas in July” tree at Lowes Food grocery store. The box and tree will be up until Wednesday afternoon. Some of the items needed are trash bags, Clorox and Pine-Sol.
