LUMBERTON — The recognition of top certified employees, the top bus driver and high-performing schools are on the agenda for today’s regular meeting of the Public Schools of Robeson County Board of Education.
The board is to meet at 6 p.m. at Lumberton City Hall, located at 500 N. Cedar St.
Certified employees of the month, the district’s bus driver of the month and schools that met or exceeded growth are part of the information items on the board’s agenda. Also listed as information items are an anti-bullying proclamation, school improvement plans and the 2017-18 budget.
Among action items on the budget are a financial report, fundraisers, the facility rentals policy and finance committee recommendations.
The board is to meet in closed session to discuss student transfers, classified/certified personnel and legal issues.
