ST. PAULS — Lawmen on Tuesday night were investigating a shooting death that took place in the parking lot of a gasoline station in St. Pauls.
Details were limited, but multiple people with information told The Robesonian that one young person was dead after shots were fired in a confrontation involving two vehicles at a BP station on Broad Street. That person’s name was not available.
The shooting occurred shortly before 4 p.m.
The sources told The Robesonian that it appeared people had been taken into custody. The State Bureau of Investigation had joined the investigation.
