LUMBERTON — The family of a missing Lumberton woman is holding a candlelight vigil on Dec. 10 to honor her and bring attention to her disappearance.

Abby Patterson, who is 20 years old, has been missing since Sept. 5.

The vigil will be held at 5 p.m. at the downtown plaza. Families that have missing loved ones are invited to participate. To get a luminary, contact Patterson’s mother, Samantha Lovette, through Facebook.

The event will include speakers and music.

Patterson is white, has brown hair, brown eyes, is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has a bird tattoo on her shoulder and a dark birthmark on the back of her left thigh. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown shorts.

There is a $10,000 reward for information that leads to Patterson’s return home.
