Crime report

Amy Chavis reported to the Lumberton Police Department that someone broke into a residence on Elizabethtown Road and stole a game console and accessories, and some jewelry, all with an estimated total value of $1,800.

Hilda Pamela reported to the Lumberton Police Department that someone broke into a residence on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and stole a wallet containing cash. The value of the wallet and the amount of cash were not indicated on the report.

An employee of the Alcoholic Beverage Control store on West Fifth Street reported to the Lumberton Police Department that someone concealed four bottles of Cognac in his or her pants and walked out without paying. The estimated value of the stolen Cognac was not listed on the report.

Carol Conlan told the Lumberton Police Department that someone entered a residence on East 13th Street through an unlocked window and stole a utility trailer, a lawn mower, a nail gun, a drill, several types of saws and a vacuum. The estimated values of the stolen items were not listed on the report.  

The following incidents of breaking and entering were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Joshua West, East Main Street, Rowland; Joe Brena, Popes Crossing Road, Lumberton; Sturgeon Locklear, Old Landing Road, Maxton; Ritchie Smith, Alamac Road, Lumberton; Ahsah Mowatt, Odum Road, Lumberton; and Billy Locklear, Andrews Farm Road, Rowland.

The following incidents of larceny of a motor vehicle were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Angel Schroeder, on N.C. 71 North, Lumber Bridge; and Donna Renee, on Wire Grass Road, Lumberton.

Carlton Dixon reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that he was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon at a residence on McGoogan Farm Road in Shannon.
