LUMBERTON — The Board of Education for the Public Schools of Robeson County will reconvene its meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday in the Lumberton City Council Chambers.
The board voted Tuesday during its regular monthly meeting to complete unfinished business on Thursday. The meeting will be held largely in executive session and will deal with personnel matters.
The topic is principal and assistant principal assignments for the 2018-19 school year. Assigning school leadership over the summer is an annual practice of the school board.
The board also will say farewell to its chairperson, Peggy Wilkins-Chavis, who lost her re-election bid to Linda Emanuel.
