Crime report

JCPenney management, located on North Elm Street, reported to the Lumberton Police Department that an employee stole an assortment of items from the department store. The items had a combined estimated value of $1,800.

Billy Ford reported to the Lumberton Police Department that someone stole $1,001 from his wallet at a business on Dawn Drive.

Maya Lee reported to the Lumberton Police Department that she was the victim of a simple assault and assault with a deadly weapon when she was at a funeral home on Elizabethtown Road.

Scottie Deese reported a missing firearm to the Lumberton Police Department. Deese told a police officer that he wasn’t sure if the firearm was misplaced or stolen from a residence on Willow Oak Drive.

Charlie Bennett reported to the Lumberton Police Department that a gray Ford Ranger was stolen while it was parked at a business on Roberts Avenue. The vehicle’s estimated value was listed as $8,100.

The following incidents of larceny of motor vehicle were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Danny Miller, on N.C. 904, Fairmont; and Jose Gomez, on Norment Road/Pine Log Road, Lumberton.

The following incidents of assault with a deadly weapon were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

John Thomas, Glenn Road, Parkton; Melissa Hunt, Fodieville Road, Shannon; Kadeem Inman, Mabe Road, Parkton; and Jordan Vann, Southern Comfort Drive, Parkton.

William Oxendine reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that he was the victim of assault with serious injury on Dawn Drive in Rowland.
