Crime report

Lisa Moretz told Lumberton police that someone cut the screen door to a home on East Eighth Street and stole a purse containing a silver wallet with $180 in cash. A checkbook and a Social Security card also were in the purse. The combined estimated value of the items in purse was listed as $70 on the report.

The following incidents of breaking and entering were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Midtown Mini Mart, N.C. 211 West, Lumberton; Kenneth Cox, McCrimmon Road, Rowland; Hope Callahan, Snow Hill Drive, St. Pauls; Yolanda Jones, Riley Circle, Lumberton; Johnathan Ross, U.S. 301 North, Lumberton; and Bertha Sanderson, Henry Berry Road, Rowland.

Steven Frye reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that a vehicle was stolen from in front of a residence on Rennert Road in Shannon.

Nicholas Blackhorse reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that he was the victim of an assault with serious injury in the Maxton area.

Donald Revels reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that a firearm was stolen from a residence on West McDuffie Crossing Road in Lumberton.
