LUMBERTON — The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 55-year-old woman who went missing today.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Susan Dial McGirt around 2 p.m. She is an American Indian female with red hair, who is about 5-foot, 8-inches tall and 170 pounds.
She is believed to be suffering from cognitive impairment. She was last seen wearing pink pajamas and a floral print night gown in the area of 600 Mt. Moriah Church Road in Lumberton walking towards Interstate 95.
Sheriff-elect Burnis Wilkins said in a Facebook post McGirt is originally from the Union Chapel area.
