LUMBERTON — The opening of the 72nd annual Robeson County Regional Agricultural Fair has been delayed two days, but the show will go on.

The plan now is to open the fair on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 11 a.m. The original schedule had it opening on Thursday.

Fair organizers delayed the opening because of Hurricane Florence and with the hope that road conditions will improve and travel to the fairgrounds becomes easier.
