LUMBERTON — Two men were placed back behind bars Wednesday as the result of searches conducted at two residences, one on Moss Neck Road and one on Floras Drive, according to information from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

David Keith Locklear, 39, was arrested after the search at the Moss Neck Road residence. He was charged with probation violation and placed in the Robeson County jail under a $1,000 secured bond. Three firearms, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia were found and seized during the search conducted by investigators with the Sheriff’s Office’s Drug Unit and officers with the North Carolina Department of Community Corrections/Probation and Parole.

Corey Elton Jones, 37, was arrested at the Floras Drive residence. Jones was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and probation violation. He was placed in the Robeson County jail and received a $2,500 secured bond for the possession of a firearm by felon charge and a $2,500 secured bond for the probation violation. Two firearms and ammunition were found and seized during the search.

The searches were part of routine checks imposed on offenders per conditions of their probation, and from information and complaints received from the communities.
