LUMBERTON — A 74-year-old Wade man died Sunday night from injuries he suffered in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 95.

According to Lumberton police Capt. Terry Parker, Earl Johnson was driving a tractor-trailer in the southbound lane of I-95 near Exit 19 when it struck another vehicle, left the road, and went down an embankment. Johnson died from his injuries at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

Information on the other driver and vehicle was not available.
