LUMBERTON — Captain Dwayne Leggett has retired from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office where he served for three decades.

On their official Facebook page the sheriff’s office thanked him for his 30 years as a law enforcement officer. They also congratulated Leggett on his retirement and wished him well, adding they hoped to see him return soon in a part-time capacity.
