LUMBERTON — The National Weather Service forecast for Robeson County predicts warm, cloudy days ahead following Saturday showers.

Regardless of the showers the high temperatures on Saturday are predicted to be around 80, and will be much lower at 50 at night. Both Saturday and Saturday night will probably see rain showers with a possibility of thunderstorms during daylight hours on Saturday.

Sunday is the lone likely cloudless day in the immediate future, though the NWS predicts strong winds.

According to the National Weather Service website a hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Robeson County predicting occasional to frequent wind gusts that might exceeded 40 miles per hour on Saturday. The hazardous weather outlook applies from Saturday to Thursday.
