The Town of Fairmont has made its proposed budget for fiscal year 2023-2024 available to the public and has set a date for a public hearing to receive comments for local residents.
FAIRMONT — Town officials have set a date for a public hearing over the town’s proposed budget for fiscal year 2023-2024.
The proposed budget is available for review in the office of the Town Clerk and the Town Water Department.
A public hearing over the budget, which includes the General Fund, Powell Bill Fund, and Water and Sewer Fund, will take place at 6 p.m. June 20 in the Fairmont-South Robeson Heritage Center, 207 S. Main St. , Fairmont.
Residents will be allowed to comment — both verbally or written — during the June 20 meeting.
