Easter Egg Hunt – Cukabury Farm, 10:30 a.m., April 19: Cukabury Farm is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt along with other activities, also. Play on the playground, go on a hayride, have a photo made with Mr. Bunny, face painting is available and a visit with the barnyard animals. Great family time. Robstock Charity Concert – Adelio’s, 6-10 p.m. April 19: The third annual Robstock Charity Concert is at Adelio’s restaurant with several groups on the list to perform. The combined groups call themselves the Robeson County Band of Brothers. The charity event presents scholarships for three Robeson County high school students pursuing arts-based education at a North Carolina university. “Alice by Heart” – GPAC – Free Show, Noon April 22; “Alice by Heart” is presented by the UNCP Musical Theatre Program. The show is based on “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll. The show is open to the public and free admittance.
Botanical Illustrations in Watercolor & Ink Class -Robeson Art Guild, 4-6 p.m., April 22: Robeson Art Guild is thrilled to announce the first in a new series of classes available to our Robeson County Community! Botanical Illustrations in Watercolor and Ink are the subject of 2 separate classes, the first on Tuesday, February 25th and the second on Tuesday, April 22nd. Each class can be taken separately, but if you have completed the February class first you will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques when you attend the April class. From the Garden Exhibition – Reception, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 22: The Robeson County Arts Council presents “From the Garden” art Exhibition with an opening reception at the Gallery on North Chestnut Street. The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, prints, jewelry, ceramics, woodcarving, sculpture, potted plants, Bonsai, floral arrangements, etc. Enjoy the celebration of art and meet the artists. Raised in Robeson County, Mark Mckinney attended Purnell Swett High and studied at Robeson Community College. Now living in Pembroke, McKinney tours throughout the coastal Carolinas’ bars and music venus.

Stride Into Wellness, 3:30-5 p.m. Aprl 29: Stride into Wellness is a free walking class to encourage walking and physical activity. This class is great for retirees or anyone who needs motivation. This is a group event but each individual is encouraged to stay within their own comfort zone. Registration is required. 4-H Film Workshop Series, 5-7 p.m. May 1: The 4-H Film Workshop series allows children 12-18 to learn filmmaking, storytelling and video production to inspire social change. Farmers Market: 3-6 p.m.m. On Wednesdays, the Robeson County Farmers Market showcases vegetables grown in Robeson County only. Local craft vendors are welcome as an addition to the MarMarketisit with the local farmers and get to know them. The market is open every Wednesday from 7 a.m. to noon on each Saturday or until the vendors sell out — through November.
Music Jam Session: Bring instruments and songs to The Barn at Risen Farms from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the first Friday of each month to jam the night away. There might be a dance or two.
