LUMBERTON —The Southeast Regional Re-entry Council has scheduled a job fair for individuals with criminal backgrounds seeking employment.

The Second Chance Job Fair and Empowerment Circle Sponsored will take place Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the O.P. Owens Agriculture Center at 455 Caton Road in Lumberton.

The Re-Entry Council coordinates re-entry services for formerly incarcerated people in Hoke, Robeson and Scotland counties. It provides a structured re-entry program of community reintegration in partnership with public and private agencies, and employers in the three-county region of Southeastern North Carolina.
