Fairmont’s week in review
Dennis Moore, John Barnes and Jasper Jackson won the Old Hackers League.
Jason Lowry and J.D. Revels were the winners im Tuesday’s Senior Shootout. The duo won on a playoff with Tim Moore and Rick Rogers, who took second place. JT Powers and Richard Lowry won the second flight, with Tommy Lowry and James Smith taking second. Donald Barnes and Jerry Jolly were the winners of the third flight, with Richard Moore and Ray Locklear taking second place. Richard Moore, Leo Hester and Knocky Thorndyke were the closest-to-the-pin winners.
The annual Collard Classic Tournament will be held on Jan. 1 with a noon shotgun start. This is a four-person Texas scramble format, with a cost of $40 for non-members and $30 for members. Entry fee includes cart and green fees, lunch, meal after play and prizes. Call the pro shop at 910-628-9931 to sign up.
