St. Pauls throttles West Columbus

CERRO GORDO — St. Pauls quarterback Noah Wheeler accounted for five touchdowns for the second straight week, leading the Bulldogs to a 44-0 win at West Columbus on Friday.

Wheeler logged 317 total yards, with three passing touchdowns and a pair of rushing scores for St. Pauls. Cole Humphrey hauled in two touchdown catches and Chris Graham tallied 93 rushing yards and a score. Caleb Inman finished with 108 yards on five receptions and a score.

Dayshawn Ray paced the defense with four tackles, including two for losses.

In other Three Rivers Conference action, Fairmont earned a 58-0 win over East Columbus to remain unbeaten in conference play along with South Columbus and South Robeson fell 62-6 at Whiteville.

Scotland routs Lumberton

LAURINBURG — Zamir White scored three touchdowns and rushed for 154 yards, leading Scotland to a 63-7 win over Lumberton.

Tyreik McCallum scored the lone touchdown for the Pirates, hauling in a 44-yard pass from Braylan Grice. Lumberton is 0-3 in Southeastern Conference play this season.

The Scots remain unbeaten in the SEC and will face Richmond next week for the league title.
