LUMBERTON — Kelly Brooks was recently named director of surgical services for Southeastern Health.
Her responsibilities include oversight for Southeastern Regional Medical Center’s operating and endoscopy/procedure rooms.
Brooks received an associate’s degree in Nursing from Kent State University in 1992, a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2005, a master’s of science in Nursing from Waynesburg College in 2006 and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Waynesburg University in 2009. Before joining Southeastern Health, she worked as director of surgical services at North Shore Medical Center in North Miami, Florida. She also has worked in Cary as director of perioperative services for Wake Med Hospital. She is a certified nurse executive.
Brooks originally is from Ohio and is currently living in Hope Mills. She has two grown sons.
