LUMBERTON — Two Lumberton men are charged with drug crimes after lawmen searched a home on Hayswood Avenue on Friday, according to Lumberton police Capt. Terry Parker.

Kelly Mathis, 36, of 1800 block of Oakwood Avenue, is charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and felony possession of marijuana. He was jailed under a $25,000 secured bond.

Michael Lynn Rogers, 35, of the 200 block of Alexander Street, Lumberton, is charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession with the intent to sell and distribute marijuana, and possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine. He was jailed under a $300,000 bond.

Rogers also was served with three additional outstanding warrants for accessory after the fact, driving while license revoked, and reckless driving to endanger. His secured bond for those charges was $300,000.

Both men were being held at the Robeson County jail at the time they were served.

The charges came after Lumberton Police Department’s Drug Investigation Unit, SWAT team and members of the Investigative Division searched a resident at 2008 Hayswood Ave.
